Layout about Charlie (what else?)

First of all, if you are Tracy Suzanne then you won my giveaway- you MUST email me (gluemeetspaper@gmail.com) in order to claim your prize, so please so do asap!

In other news my nanny called out sick today so I got to spend the day playing with Charlie and finishing up this layout!  Some of you super-detail oriented readers might have noticed a few references to the fact that Charlie has Cystic Fibrosis in some of my projects.  My husband and I have decided to document this part of his life just like we would anything else, so that's what my layout today is all about.  If you don't know what Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is: it's a chronic genetic illness that results in the production of sticky, thick mucus.  This mucus clogs up airways, damages lungs (it's a great place for bacteria to grow), and blocks digestive enzymes from being released.  That's a very  bare bones explanation.  So Charlie in particular needs lots of medication to keep his lungs clear and to be able to digest food.

Anyways, here's my layout- hope you like it!  I haven't done a two pager in ages!

If you'd like to know more about Charlie's 'routine' you can check out this blog post here: http://charliecyr.blogspot.com/2011/01/cystic-fibrosis-management-for-4-month.html

  1. What a blessing your memories will be for someone else who might be struggling with CF. Thank you for sharing something so personal. Little Charlie is lucky to have a family who cares so much about him.

  2. Little Charlie is so simply adorable. I didn't know he had CF nor did I really know what it was and how much work it entails. You and your husband are to be commended. And Charlie too for his terrific attitude. I imagine as time goes on, the routine becomes that much more comfortable for all. I learned a lot about CF from just this post. TFS.--Pat N.

  3. Aww! What a great page. I love documenting real life. Charlie is so adorable and what dedication it takes to keep him growing healthy. On a lighthearted note, if Tracy doesn't contact you I wouldn't mind taking Emma's Shoppe off your hands ;)
