A Prickly Halloween :)

Hi everyone, as promised here are some photo's of Charlie in his costume :) (no crafty projects today!!) He went as a porcupine!!  I was convinced he wouldn't wear the hat for longer than 10seconds so I was shocked that he actually kept it on for easily 15 minutes!  Anyways, I think he looks darling so I needed to share hehe

Halloween Projects

Hi everyone! Thought I'd stop by and show some Halloween projects I've been working on using my "Something Wicked" kit from Noel Mignon.

Robb's birthday is Halloween so when I saw this adorable idea by Jill Cornell on the NM Tips and Tricks Blog I knew it would make a perfect gift!  How cute is this little ghost/footprint?

I wrapped it in the tissue paper that came with the frame and then added some bakers twine and a tag for decoration.

And I made a layout with some of Charlie's Halloween pictures from last year as well.  I'll make sure to post photos of his costume this year too!!  I won't tell you what it is but it is DEFINITELY ADORABLE :D

Anyways I used a sketch on the NM Challenge blog for this one, I pieced the stars together by hand and really dig how they came out

Are you dressing up for Halloween tomorrow?  What are you (and your kids) going to be??

Two Page Layouts

Here's some fun two page layouts I've been working on, typically two pagers aren't my favorite- it's too much space!  But sometimes you just have too many pictures to scrap at once-- like these cute ones of Charlie and his Great Grandpa, aren't they adorable?  Charlie kept stealing his hat :) hehe

And another one made using the Mary Ellen kit from Noel Mignon

Trick or Treat Halloween Wreath

Hi everyone!!  Just stopping by to show a project I worked on last night using Noel Mignon's kit "Something Wicked".  I used the Authentique and MME paper in the kit as well as the alphas to make this cool wreath to greet trick or treaters this year!  I was surprised it only took 4.5 sheets of patterned paper to make the whole wreath :)  I also used Tim Holtz's rosette dies (all three sizes) which helped it come together pretty quickly.

Lots of New Projects

Hi Friends!

I have a bunch of new projects to share with you.  I've been waiting to have my husband photograph them before I shared but it's been a few weeks now and I don't think that's happenning  lol :)  So please excuse the less than stellar photos!

Here's a layout using the new Random Collection by Crate Paper.  I used the front sheet of the packaging as the background for this layout and sewed along some of the borders to give it a "quilted" feel.  The photo's were taken in WA by Robb, showing my Grandpa teaching me how to play Sudoku.

Next is a layout about my faaaaavorite cheese shop (yes, I have a favorite cheese shop.  It's not an understatement to say that I'm obsessed with the cheese there either hehe).  I made this using's kit "Salt Water Taffy".  The journaling is tucked in an envelope behind the title and reads as follows

"Who would have guessed that a tiny, quaint little cheese shop would become an obsession for our entire carpool!  Tina, Kim and I would race out of work to try and get to the cheese shop before it closed. Their 5yr aged (or petrified, as Tina calls it) gouda was the highlight of our week!  The spicy Italian salami is to die for.  Oh, Curds and Whey, we love you!  Sincerely, the Protein Sciences Carpool"

Next up is a layout about my husbands ridiculous mustache.  He shaved his beard one day and left a mustache and it cracked me up!  This one is made using's kit "The Bees Knees"

And last but not least a Birthday Layout about my son's first birthday (and the cake of course!) made using's kit Salt Water Taffy.

So hopefully all these layouts will make up for the lack of posting recently :)  I have even more to show you but that's for another day!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!
