Home Themed Project- The Paper Variety

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a "home" themed project to share with you all today for the Paper Variety's Weekly Challenge :)  I made this fun multi photo layout using NoelMignon.com's kit "Delightfully Domestic".  It's all about Charlie's First Easter, which we spent relaxing at home, opening easter baskets, and coloring eggs.  I hope you like it and remember to stop by The Paper Variety to participate for your chance to win an awesome prize from Paper Lovelies!

SRM Stickers and some Cards

Hello all!!  Just a quick post to show you my Paper Variety Project for this week.  We were given SRM Stickers (thanks SRM!) to work with and oh my, they are lovely!  They really look clean and crisp- I am now a huge fan!  They have these awesome calendar stickers that I've been using on my projects like crazy.  Check out SRM Stickers and their blog, which is amazing- their DT is really good.

Here are a few quick cards using SRM sentiments- an Easter card and a Thank You card (both use NoelMignon.com kit Delightfully Domestic)

and a few quick baby cards....one of my friends just found out she is pregnant with her 2nd baby!  So I made a card for her and a spare :)

Well I'm off- it's our 3rd wedding anniversary today!  My husband and I are going out to dinner at Todd English's Tuscany tonight to celebrate (yum!!)

My Favorite Embellishment

Why hello everyone!  Lots of posts this week in honor of TPV's 1 year anniversary blog hop!  Wahoo!  Our challenge for today was to use our favorite embellishment.  After a lot of thought I decided that my favorite embellishment is CIRCLES!  I love circles, i use them on virtually every layout.  I love diecut circles, round buttons, punched circles, pearls, pins.....if it's round than I'm in!  Here's my circle-y layout (I believe I counted 22....) made with Rocket Age by October Afternoon

SOO- What's your favorite way to embellish??

Feelin Clean Smellin Fine Happy When It's Bath Time

Hi everyone!  Welcome to all the new followers (whoa! lots of you guys!) and thanks for joining my blog :)  If you are looking for The Paper Variety Blog Hop Click Here- there's a giveaway too!

Heres my DT layout for the Paper Variety's "My Favorite Photo's" Challenge.  This challenge was a great one- I've been looking for an excuse to scrap these cute photo's of Charlie in the tub.  Isn't he darling?  I used Crate Paper's Toy Box line for this fun layout.  Make sure you stop by TPV for your chance to win The Apothecary Emporium collection by Echo Park!

Now normally I don't let Charlie watch a lot of TV but during his breathing treatments we find it's necessary to bribe him a little bit, getting a 1 yr old to sit still for 2x30min sessions is a tall order otherwise :)  Anyways, one of the shows Charlie LOVES (therefore Robb and I love as well) is Yo Gabba Gabba. The title of this layout is a lyric from one of their songs, and now I can't see the layout without getting that song stuck in my head haha  Do you know it too?

TPV One Year Blogoversary Week

Welcome to The Paper Variety's one year anniversary celebration! This week it's all about our "favorite things"! TPV is hosting 5 daily challenges of our favorite things and awarding 5 great prizes to 5 lucky random winners. We hope you'll play along with us each day!!

We begin today with a fun blog hop and our 1st challenge which is sponsored by My Favorite Things stamps . If you've reached me from Jackie's blog, you're in the right place! If not, you'll want to go back to The Paper Variety so you can begin in the right spot. Be sure to visit all 12 designers on this hop to be inspired by all their lovely creations using MFT stamps -- and also, many of us have blog candy for you, too!

Our first of 5 challenges is to create a paper project including stamps - clear stamps, rubber stamps, image stamps, sentiment stamps. My Favorite Things stamps is awarding a random challenge winner with a $25 gift voucher to their store!

You'll have until Tuesday noon to enter your project here for a chance at the voucher prize.  My Favorite Things also generously provided the entire TPV DT with stamps to use on our projects. Thank you, MFT!  Here's my take - I used their tree and bird stamps on this layout about my husband and I

Before you go on to the next hop stop, I have some blog candy to giveaway!  This is a mixture of the Origins line by Basic Grey (the leftovers from making my Pregnancy Scrapbook), BoBunny, aaaaand a bunch of awesome diecuts from Crate Paper's Toy Box line!  Chipboard, brads, buttons, label stickers- a little bit of all embelishments from one of my favorite lines ever.

In order to win you must follow my blog and leave me a comment below.  You don't need to play along at TPV in order to win my prize :)

If you win you MUST contact me by email to claim your prize.  If you don't claim within 2 weeks I will give away to someone else.  The Winner will be announced Tuesday September 13th so make sure to stop on back to see if you've won!

Now hop on over to Kylie's blog to see her beautiful project created with MFT stamps!

Crate Paper/ Sassafras Blogs and a new Layout

Hello everyone!  Sooooo did you see me on both the Crate Paper blog and Sassafras Lass blogs this week?  Boy am I excited!!

In other news- we made it through the hurricane here in CT just fine....we only lost power for about 2 hours.  I've had some colleagues at work that are coming up on over a week now without power :(

I'm stopping by to share a layout I made for the Crate Paper Color Challenge this month which was Raspberry, Pink, and Apricot.  As you might know, these are not my normal colors- so this was a fun challenge for me!  I hope you like the end result as much as I do :)
