Would you rather....

Here's my take on a challenge at the messageboard.  It's a doozy-  Would you rather not use your paper trimmer or your tape gun?  I chose to not use my paper trimmer and it forced me to think creatively and come up with this layout

Tough challenge but I'm so thrilled with the result :)  I used a heart punch for all the hearts and the two banner pieces next to the photo are by Pretty Little Studio and were hand cut with scissors.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Precocious Paper Projects

Hello hello everybody!  Here today to share some projects I made using the Precocious Paper February Sampler "For Like Ever" which is absolutely adorable :)

First, I made a Valentine's Day wreath.  I hand rolled the flowers (which took "for like ever".....get it? ha. ha. ha.) and then used some of the accessories in the sample to embellish, like the bow, cupcake poppy, leaves, doily, and ribbon.  Photos by my very talented husband of course!

Next a few layouts! The first is made with the crinkle flower and the second is made with the confetti, envelope, and sewing pattern flower included in the sampler.

Alrighty! That's it for today, have a great weekend guys!

Burlap and Buttercups Projects to Share

Hi everyone!  Today is the reveal day of the Burlap and Buttercups Idea Gallery :)  Make sure you head on over to see everyone's awesome projects!

Here are mine, I hope you like them.... I used the super duper fabulous February Kit

I also wanted to share a couple quick photos we got of Charlie a few weeks ago- i think they're darling so I just had to share :)  He's 18 months already!

This next picture LOOKS like Charlie is cuddling with me, but don't be fooled!  Charlie is the most active boy EVER and refuses to sit still (with the exception of Chest PT and Nebulizer treatments and only because he's well trained.  And if he squirms we just hold him down anyways haha) while it may seem to the untrained eye that mommy is getting a hug in this picture what is ACTUALLY going on is that Charlie is literally trying to push away from me using his head --Robb just so happenned to get this picture before he wriggled away. haha are your kids that squirmy?  This boy just won't sit still!

And ofcourse if you TRY to make him sit still this is the reaction you'll get :)  I LOVE this photo of my boys, cracks me up every time haha

I think these might be more accurate depictions of trying to get my little boy to sit down for 2 seconds hehehe

Burlap and Buttercups February Kit

Hiiiiiiii everyone!!  Long time no see eh?  Well no worries, I will have lots of projects to share in the coming weeks :)  I've been super busy at work ..... if you know what a SRID is, or what a Process Validation for drug product entails, than perhaps you know my pain hehe.

I did want to stop on by to share the Burlap and Buttercups February Kit which is a doooooozy!  It's full of beautiful blues, grays, and yellows. It's just gorgeous (lots of OA and CP- two of my absolute faves), perfect if you're like me and have a lot of little boy photos :)  Check it out!
